Maria Mar wrote these poems as she recovered from a crisis that had left her ill. In their silent language, depicted in the cadence of these meditative poems, the trees healed a sick and exhausted Maria Mar, revealing secrets about the most basic human endeavors: love, pain, poetry, growth, intimacy, beauty, trust, progress, detachment, Attention, Joy and many others.
