$5,000-$10,000

Local close to New York and non-profits: $5,000

This includes the Tri-state area and non-profit organizations serving that area.

States far from NY and corporations: $10,000

About Fees

This booking fee is subject to change at any moment, based on the law of supply and demand, speaker's availability, distance and other factors. Please read Terms of Speakers's Fee below for more information.

Generally a speaker's fee is quoted for a keynote presentation, unless otherwise indicated. A typical keynote address ranges in time from 30 minutes to 90 minutes, depending on both the specific speaker as well as the needs of the client. Longer sessions may raise the fee proportionally.

Half day, full day, breakout sessions, workshop, follow up and residency options may also be quoted.

When booking a speaker, ShamansDance handles all contracts.

A non-refundable 50% deposit is requested at the time of booking. The remaining 50% of the speaking fee is due at least 30 days prior to the scheduled event, unless other arrangements have been made.

ADDITIONAL FEES
Customary travel expenses, accommodations, meals and incidentals that are incurred by the speaker are not considered part of the speaking fee and are the responsibility of the client.

INTERNATIONAL FEES
Fees for international appearances are generally higher than for domestic appearances due to surcharges, tax rates and travel time expenditures. Quotes for international travel will be given during consultation and will be agreed upon contractually prior to the international event. Maria Mar requires to be at the site at least 3 days before the event. For this reason, international bookings should consider several follow-up activities to take advantage of the booking.

In international bookings, all additional expenses must be pre-paid 30 days before the day of the flight, including hotel and airplane tickets. Ms. Mar requires traveling in Business Class.

Speaker fees are determined based on a number of factors and may change without notice. Fees often vary based on a number of factors including: speakers schedule, supply and demand, length of presentation, location of event and other factors. Within the fee range stated above, there are different fees for local events in New York, for close by events in the Tri-state areas, for events in California in the Bay Area and for all other states, usually based on distance from New York as well as season.

Like any business, speakers fees will fluctuate based on supply and demand. Maria Mar is constantly growing her platform and exposure, and changes in her celebrity status may greatly and suddenly affect her fee. Book now!

These fluctuation in speakers' fee is part of the field. For example, if a speaker's book becomes a best-seller, if she launches a radio or TV shows, is featured in a mainstream TV show or magazine or is involved in a major news worthy event, it is not unusual for their fees to change (sometimes dramatically) without notice due to increased demand and limited availability.
