Maria Mar, the Dream Alchemist, answers your dream questions!
Question 1
How do I keep on track towards my dream? I started really
fine, and then I begin to slip, until I am back in my old habits!
Answer 1
It happens to the best of us! One thing that you need is
to have love, compassion and understanding for yourself. Some days are
better than others.
If you are slipping, and keep slipping, then you
need to develop your Dreamer's Discipline. This is self-discipline. If
you are used to working for others and focusing on others, this may be hard.
This said, keeping on track is easy, if you have four things in place:
- A clear dream or goal that responds to your soul's
innermost desire. If your dream has its source in the clear waters of
your soul, it taps into what you want to do, your organic self and your
talents. You'll want to get up every morning to do it! If you goal is
rooted in your Authentic Self, but there are doubts or
struggle clouding your enthusiasm, then there may be an Emotional
Undertow ~muddy issues from the past~ pulling you back.
You need to go within, find them and clear them.
Catch the Dream Express digital experience
offers you a workbook that guides you, step-by-step, in
assessing the issues that pull you back and releasing them.
- A clear plan or strategy broken down in steps and
tasks that you have prioritized. If you don't have a clear idea of
what you need to do first and what goes after, you are going to be all
over the place, get anxious and make a lot of discouraging mistakes.
To help you with this, you will need a success or time management coach,
someone who specializes in creating strategies to help you move towards
your goal. You can also get lots of good books that teach you how to do
it, and then type your strategy, print it, create time management sheets
and look at it every day. Don't allow yourself to waver from it, unless
you feel that it needs to be reviewed, which will happen. You don't want
to be rigid.

- A calendar that you can use as a sounding board,
that includes your voice, quality of life and dream tasks. A professional
calendar does not support your dream. If you have issues with time,
and who doesn't? ~you will fill pressured to perform, but will not find
encouragement. Get a calendar that allows you to enter into a dialogue
with time, with yourself and with the Universe. A good to-do list calendar
that does just that is included as a FREE bonus
in our special offer of the
Catch the Dream Express digital experience.
(If the offer is not yet up, email us and we'll let you know
when it's ready. It it's already over, email us and we'll contact you to
purchase the calendar by itself.)
- A support system, mentor and Orbit of
Influence that sustains your work and feeds your intent. If you
want to be a swan, don't try to fly alone or with ugly ducklings. We all
need encouragement. When we can relate to others who are working towards
their dream, we keep strong. Don't try to do it alone! If you are doing
this, you are trapped in a False Belief. Look around. There's
plenty of help and kindred spirits, and you deserve good company.

Question 3
I am exhausted. I'm trying to do what I need to do to make my
dream come true, but at the end of the day, I am so tired all I want to do
is sleep. How can I start?
Answer 2
You have the
Sleeping Beauty syndrome, probably caused by even another women's
self-sabotage MO: the Cinderella Syndrome. Start by loving yourself in
tiny, manageable ways that do not demand a lot from you. Develop
self-pampering treats that you can do in 3 to 15 minutes a day, and add a
new one each week. Begin with practicing The Breath of Life four
times a day, for only 3 minutes each time: when you wake up, after or before
lunch, when you get home and when you go to sleep. Little by little,
releasing stress, pampering yourself, and making tiny pools of time oasis,
you will gain strength and learn to open the space for yourself.
If all this sounds
foreign to you, then the
The Dream Basket Manifestation Ceremony would be a
really big help for you. It offers 6-months worth of support.
